Housing & Home Ownership Scheme
Home ownership is a dream that most Metro members share. Metro are currently developing options for home ownership for Metro members. Under the restrictive nature of the current legislations Metro are not in a position to implement a home ownership scheme but believe the current review of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act will enable Metro and the members to move forward and adopt a suitable scheme.

Sorry Business
Metro understand members living in the Sydney metropolitan area often have difficulties traveling for sorry business. As such, Metro provides a 22 seat bus for members to travel to and from sorry business at no charge for bookings of six or more. Please contact the Office for further information.
If you are a member of a land council or an Aboriginal person residing in NSW and require financial assistance for a funeral the NSW Aboriginal Land Council operate a Funeral Benefits scheme. The Funeral Benefits scheme is operated under strict criteria and payments are only made to the funeral directors. For further details contact the Accounts section at the NSW Aboriginal Land Council.
