Local Government Areas
Within Metro’s boundaries there are 24 Local Government Areas. Metro aims to build positive and constructive relationships with local governments within its boundaries. We have signed Principles of Cooperation agreements with a number of Councils as a way of formalizing these relationships. Our aim is to sign a Principles of Cooperation Agreement with every Council within our boundaries. The following Local Government Areas are within Metro’s boundaries:
