'Tourism

Tourism has the potential to provide Aboriginal people with employment, training and business opportunities. It also allows us to promote a greater awareness of Sydney’s Aboriginal culture and heritage.

Sydney and the surrounding areas are abundant in Aboriginal rock art and relics, and are home to one of the world’s largest and oldest art galleries. By showcasing the abundance of Aboriginal sites in Sydney, Metro wants to educate visitors and locals that you don’t need to travel to outback Australia to experience Aboriginal culture and heritage.

Metro has access to and the cultural knowledge of some of Sydney’s most unique Aboriginal sites. We’re able to offer visitors and locals a rare opportunity to visit these places and learn about the Aboriginal history of our area.
